The green debate continues to be one of the most important issues to affect the travel industry in 2008; since 14 November 2007 Eurostar journeys are carbon-neutral, and we are continually working on our 10-point plan to reduce our carbon footprint further.
This category is open to all our third parties within the Leisure market. Tell us how you have focused on being greener and how you have promoted a greener Eurostar in your marketing campaigns.
How to nominate
Entrants are free to nominate on behalf of their company. You should be able to demonstrate how your innovative approach to promoting Eurostar as the greener option to our destinations has been effective. How did you convey this message?

- Embeds the principals of Tread Lightly into their everyday lives.
- Shows a clear environmental commitment across their company.
- Creative ideas for communicating Eurostar’s Tread Lightly messages
- Were the ideas innovative and different?
- Were the methods of communication effective?
- Have they been successful in driving change?
- Demonstrates clearly how their influence has led others to embrace being ‘greener’.
