The HS1 & Beyond Award

The last 18 months have been a momentous one for Eurostar, and none of it would have been possible without your support.

This award is for partners who have helped to promote our brand new stations and the launch of our services on the UK’s first high-speed line. We want to know how your efforts have helped bring our existing travellers with us and encouraged people from our new catchments to use Eurostar for the first time.

How to nominate

This category is a company award open to all partners. Entries may be submitted by team members, team leaders and managers on behalf of the company.

Judging criteria

The judges will be looking at three main criteria when making their assessment.

  • Has clearly delivered the HS1 messaging
    • Have they promoted the messages of new stations, journey times and 186mph both internally and externally?
  • Proactive approach
    • Have they pro-actively tailored their messaging to both existing and new catchment areas?
  • Demonstrates measures of success (can be specified areas or overall)

Your entry

The judges are not necessarily looking at volume of bookings. Rather they are looking for a company who can really sell the benefits of both Eurostar and HS1 and beyond:

  1. How have you marketed the HS1 messaging?
  2. What have you done to encourage travellers to use Ebbsfleet?
  3. What have you done to promote Eurostar within new catchment areas?
  4. How have you communicated with existing travellers prior to the move?
  5. Please provide us with information giving details of how successful you have been in the promotion of the new stations.
  6. Is there any other information to support your submission which you think the judges should know about?
